It looks like Taylor Swift and Blake Lively have finally put an end to rumors about their falling out. The two have been close friends for years, but after Blake’s much-talked-about argument with actor Justin Baldoni during the filming of It Ends With Us, fans began to suspect that things had turned sour between her and Taylor. Now, thanks to Taylor’s boyfriend, NFL star Travis Kelce, it seems the two have reconciled and moved past their differences.

During an episode of New Heights, the podcast hosted by Travis and his brother Jason Kelce, the brothers mentioned Blake Lively in a warm and familiar way. Jason called her “our friend,” to which Travis agreed, hinting that everything between the pop star and the actress is perfectly fine.

While chatting about Blake’s role in the 2005 film The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Jason praised her performance, saying, “She killed it. Absolutely wonderful as Bridget.” Travis quickly backed him up, saying, “Killed it. I might be a little biased, but I thought Bridget’s story was the most relatable and probably the most fun.” Jason even teased her about her on-screen running scenes, joking that she didn’t quite have the best athlete’s stride, but made it clear it was all in good fun.

What caught fans’ attention, though, was that this particular podcast episode was actually filmed a year ago but was only made public recently — right before the release of Taylor’s upcoming album The Life of a Showgirl. The timing raised eyebrows because one of the tracks on the album, titled Cancelled, is rumored to be about Taylor’s rocky relationship with Blake and how they supposedly grew apart.

But things now appear to be back on track between the two. Blake recently liked one of Taylor’s posts about the new album, which fans took as a clear sign of support and a quiet confirmation that their friendship is stronger than ever. It seems the pair have chosen to let bygones be bygones, proving that true friendships can weather even the toughest rumors.
