NFL stars Travis and Jason Kelce sparked laughter among fans after a playful, photoshopped image of the brothers in a reimagined Notting Hill movie poster was shared on social media. The image, posted to the official Instagram page of their podcast New Heights on Friday, October 11, followed a humorous conversation about the iconic 1999 romantic comedy during a recent episode.
In the doctored poster, Jason Kelce, 36, takes the place of Julia Roberts’ character, Anna Scott, with his face blown up in a black-and-white movie poster on a wall. Travis Kelce, 35, is photoshopped as Hugh Grant’s character, William Thacker, walking by his brother’s larger-than-life image, capturing the essence of the original poster.
The witty post came alongside a clip of Travis offering his review of Notting Hill on the latest episode of the brothers’ New Heights podcast, released on October 9. The caption accompanying the Instagram post read, “Travis watched Notting Hill and gave his best attempt at a solo movie review (SWIPE).” Fans of the podcast were quick to share their amusement over the clever reimagining.
During the episode, Travis reflected on the experience of watching the romantic classic, which stars Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. He also recalled meeting Roberts, 56, at one of his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour concerts earlier this year.
“I like watching films with people that I’ve met and I know,” Travis shared, explaining his personal connection to the film. “I watched Hugh Grant in, um … oh, what’s … Julia Roberts … Nottingham Hill? I watched that one. I enjoyed it.”
The playful mistake of calling the movie “Nottingham Hill” instead of Notting Hill added to the light-hearted tone of the conversation, and his candid review left both his brother Jason and their listeners in stitches.
