Tom Holland is officially suiting up again as Peter Parker in Marvel’s upcoming fourth installment, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. While fans were buzzing after Marvel dropped the new title, Holland took to Instagram to hint at big changes ahead—even though he was MIA from the announcement due to filming Christopher Nolan’s next epic, The Odyssey.

In his video message, Holland apologized for missing out, saying, “I’m halfway around the world shooting a movie,” but confirmed the theme for the next chapter: a fresh start. “That’s all I can say,” he teased, keeping Marvel’s signature secrecy intact.

Recap: No Way Home ended with Doctor Strange wiping the world’s memory of Peter Parker, leaving him utterly alone. Now, Brand New Day picks up the pieces, with Peter navigating life post-memory-wipe and seemingly stepping away from the Spider-suit—at least at first.

According to early synopsis leaks:

“Following the events of Doomsday, Peter Parker is determined to lead a normal life and focus on college, stepping back from his responsibilities as Spider-Man. However, peace is short-lived when a deadly new threat emerges, endangering his friends and forcing Peter to reconsider his promise.”

This also confirms that Holland’s Spidey won’t appear in Doomsday due to timeline differences—though that’s not to say the multiverse doors are shut forever.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to swing into theaters on July 31, 2026, and fans are already hoping to see a reunion with MJ, maybe a surprise Avenger, and a new villain twist.
