Tom Hiddleston looked clearly confused when his ex, Taylor Swift, came up in an interview. He was at the UK radio show Heart, promoting his new movie, The Life of Chuck, alongside his co-star Karen Gillan.
The conversation was about the film, but the topic suddenly shifted when the host mentioned Swift’s possible Super Bowl performance. Hiddleston and Swift had a brief relationship in the summer of 2016. It didn’t last long, but it made headlines all over the internet back then.
During the chat, the host asked how Hiddleston spends his free nights. He said he usually watches sports highlights. He loves football and tennis and enjoys reading the work of sports journalists. He admitted it might sound a little nerdy.
Then the host mentioned that Swift had been dropping hints about her Super Bowl halftime performance in 2026. They also said she is a fan of a very specific sourdough recipe blog. Hiddleston raised his eyebrow, tilted his head, and let out a curious “hmmm.” The host tried to make it relatable, saying, “I can see how you can get into that.”
Karen Gillan joined in and talked about an Easter Egg Swift had dropped during her New Heights podcast. She explained that Swift said she likes Sourdough Sam, the mascot of the San Francisco 49ers.
Back in 2017, Hiddleston had praised Swift in an interview with GQ. He called her generous, kind, and lovely and said they had a great time together. He also insisted that their romance was real.
