Fans of crime dramas are in for a treat as actors Tom Hardy, Helen Mirren, and Pierce Brosnan are in final negotiations to join Guy Ritchie’s upcoming Paramount+ series The Associate. Directed by Ritchie and written by Ronan Bennett, known for Top Boy, the series is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the gangster genre.

The Cast of The Associate

Tom Hardy, known for his intense roles, is set to play Harry, a “fixer” for a powerful crime family. Described as both dangerous and charming, Hardy’s character promises to be central to the storyline. Alongside him, Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan are expected to take on the roles of the crime family’s matriarch and patriarch, respectively. What is The Associate about?

The series was initially developed under the title The Donovans, a spin-off of the hit Showtime show Ray Donovan, but was later reworked into a standalone series. Now, The Associate has no connection to the Ray Donovan universe and will carve out its own story.
