Tom Cruise, while busy promoting his latest film Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, recently opened up to Indian actress Avneet Kaur about his deep admiration for India and Bollywood. In a video that’s been making the rounds online, Cruise expressed his strong desire to work on a Bollywood-style movie, captivated by the vibrant energy of Indian cinema—complete with colorful scenes, catchy dance numbers, and lively songs.

He said, “I would love to go back to India and make a film there. I love Bollywood films; the skill it takes to do what you all do is so natural. I love it when, in a scene, someone suddenly breaks into a song. I love it.” He went on to explain how much he enjoys musicals from around the world, but Bollywood movies top his list.

Cruise added, “You can just break out into a song—it’s so beautiful. I love the dancing, singing, and the actors. That is such a unique experience and craftsmanship of the actors to be able to sing, dance, and act.”
