Justin Timberlake has made the decision to postpone several of his upcoming concert dates due to health concerns. The artist is currently experiencing bronchitis and laryngitis, which has led to the rescheduling of his Midwest performances that were originally planned from October 23 to November 2.
In a message shared on social media, Timberlake expressed his disappointment about needing to push back the shows. He indicated that he hadn’t been feeling well during recent performances and apologized for the inconvenience. New dates for the concerts have been set for February 2025, covering cities such as Chicago, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Milwaukee, St. Paul, and Columbus.
Timberlake also took the opportunity to thank his fans for their understanding during this time and promised to make it up to them in the future. This announcement comes on the heels of a challenging month for the singer, who had previously postponed a concert in Newark, New Jersey, just hours before it was scheduled due to an injury. While the specifics of the injury were not disclosed, it appeared to be minor, as he was able to perform shortly afterward in Philadelphia.
Earlier this year, Timberlake also canceled a concert in London after falling ill with a viral infection. Despite these health challenges, he successfully released a new album, Everything I Thought It Was, in March, marking his first solo project since 2018’s Man of the Woods.
Timberlake’s year has been a rollercoaster ride, as he faced not only health setbacks but also legal issues. This past summer, he was arrested on charges of driving while impaired in the Hamptons. He later pleaded guilty and took the chance to address the public, urging others to learn from his mistake and avoid drinking and driving.
As Timberlake deals with these health and personal challenges, fans remain supportive and look forward to his return to the stage in early 2025.
