The Young and the Restless brought the drama on May 13, 2025, with schemes, secrets, and some serious power plays in Genoa City.

Phyllis was her classic nosy self this episode. While out at Society, she happened to overhear Billy and Sally talking about a very hush-hush plan—one where Billy is plotting to use Aristotle Dumas as a pawn in his ongoing battle against Victor Newman.

Not one to sit back quietly, Phyllis confronts them, accusing them of scheming and, more importantly, of stealing the job she wanted. But her real move comes after—when Billy and Sally step away for dessert. Phyllis swipes Billy’s phone, sneakily slides it into her purse, and later scrolls through his messages. She finds some juicy info about Dumas and quickly notes it down before quietly placing the phone back on a nearby table. Billy never even notices it was missing.

Elsewhere, Adam and Chelsea sit down for a heart-to-heart. Chelsea is still unsure whether she did the right thing by accepting a job at Newman Media—especially knowing how tangled things can get when Victor is involved. Adam tries to reassure her, saying this time it’s different. He promises they’re going to create something meaningful together.

But Chelsea’s not fully convinced. She senses that Adam might still be under Victor’s thumb. Adam insists he’s his own man now. Chelsea warns him: if he starts slipping back into old habits, she won’t stick around to watch it happen. Adam swears he won’t let her down.

Victor Presses Play on His Revenge

Meanwhile, over at the GCAC, Victor gets wind of Chelsea joining the Newman team—and that immediately gets his wheels turning. He pulls Adam aside and tells him to stop dragging his feet and move forward with their plan to bring Billy down once and for all.

Adam clearly isn’t thrilled about it and tries to buy some time, but Victor is not someone you stall for long. Adam returns to Chelsea afterward, and when she asks what Victor wanted, he dodges the question—clearly caught in a tug-of-war between loyalty to his dad and the woman he’s trying not to lose again.

Phyllis Makes a Power Move

Not done stirring the pot, Phyllis later approaches Victor herself, hinting that she has some very interesting information—and suggests they sit down for a drink to talk about it. Classic Phyllis, always one step ahead and ready to trade intel for influence.

Damian Goes Undercover

On another front, Lily is pulling her own strings. She asks Damian to join the Winters team but not just as an employee—she wants him to act as a double agent. The plan? He’ll pretend to spy on Winters for Dumas, but in reality, he’ll be spying on Dumas and feeding the truth back to the Winters crew.

Damian agrees and sets up a meeting with Devon and Nate to finalize the details the next day. It’s a bold move—and one that could either protect the company or blow up in their faces.
