In this emotional episode, Tessa finds Mariah at the park, visibly upset and crying. When Tessa asks what’s wrong, Mariah first tries to brush it off, saying she’s just exhausted from work. But Tessa can tell something deeper is going on.

Eventually, Mariah opens up and admits she saw Ian again, which brought back painful memories of the terrible things he did to her. Even though Tessa reminds Mariah that she was a victim, not a partner in any wrongdoing, Mariah still can’t stop blaming herself.

Tessa encourages Mariah to get help, trying everything to support her friend. But in a heartbreaking moment, Mariah simply says, “I’m sorry,” and walks away — leaving Tessa shattered.

Later, Daniel finds Tessa and offers her some much-needed comfort during this tough time.

Meanwhile, Daniel and Phyllis have a serious talk. Phyllis says she’s ready to move on from Abbott Communications and suggests they try starting something new together. Daniel isn’t really in the mood to hear it, but Phyllis hints she has an inspiring idea that might just change his mind.

Elsewhere, Claire and Kyle discuss their relationship. Claire shares her plan to win over Victor’s approval, which she really values. Kyle isn’t convinced, questioning why they should let Victor’s stubbornness dictate their lives or if Victor has become an unwanted third wheel. Still, Kyle promises he’ll keep trying to make it work.
