Ted Lasso has officially been renewed for a fourth season, much to the delight of fans. While the cast members, including Jason Sudeikis, are in discussions about their roles, one major change will be the casting of Henry, Ted’s son. Gus Turner, who previously played the role of Henry, is being replaced, and the team is currently looking for a new actor to step into the role.

In previous seasons, Henry was a soccer-loving boy who stayed with his mother in Kansas City while his father, Ted, coached a soccer team across the world. Henry’s FaceTime interactions with Ted were a common sight throughout the series, and despite the couple’s separation mid-show, Henry continued visiting his father in London. The character was also featured in an emotional moment at the end of Season 3, welcoming his father home.

While Jason Sudeikis has confirmed that he will reprise his role as Ted, the return of other fan-favorite cast members, including Hannah Waddingham, Jeremy Swift, and Brett Goldstein, is still under negotiation. However, it’s expected that these key team members will return for the new season.

Additionally, the production team is seeing some exciting new additions. Jack Burditt, known for his work on Modern Family and 30 Rock, has joined the crew as an executive producer. Other producers coming on board include Toheeb Jimoh, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel.

Season 4 of Ted Lasso will be written by Sara Walker and Phoebe Walsh, with Sasha Garron co-producing. More details about the new season are expected to be revealed soon, so fans can look forward to more updates as the show progresses.
