Amidst the buzz surrounding The Rolling Stones’ highly anticipated tour, frontman Mick Jagger found himself venturing into uncharted territory, quite literally, as he paid a visit to the NASA headquarters.

While the band geared up for their tour, with trucks laden with equipment, Jagger took a detour to the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. The iconic Can’t You Hear Me Knocking singer not only explored the vast expanse of space but also shared his adventures with his devoted fans.

Both fans and staff at NASA were equally astonished to welcome one of the greatest rockstars of our time, and perhaps beyond. Jagger’s Instagram post captured the surreal moment, with the screen behind him reading, “Welcome to Mission Control,” setting the scene for an out-of-this-world experience.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to explore unseen realms, Jagger thanked NASA in his post, acknowledging the guidance of astronauts Josh Cassada, Bob Hines, and Jessica Meir.

The series of snapshots showcased Jagger inside a spacecraft simulator, immersing himself in the virtual reality of the moon, providing a glimpse into his extraordinary journey.

Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones embarked on their tour, poised to captivate audiences once again with their timeless talent. Joined by Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, Jagger commenced the Hackney Diamonds Tour sponsored by AARP.

Their journey kicked off at the NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, and will include exhilarating performances at the Jazz Fest in New Orleans and various other cities across the United States and Canada. The tour, named after their latest album released in honor of their late drummer Charlie Watts, promises to deliver new and original music, marking a significant milestone for the legendary band. With their final show scheduled at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA, on July 17, The Rolling Stones are set to leave an indelible mark on the music scene once again.
