Nick Jonas is head over heels for Priyanka Chopra—and he always has been. During a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, the singer opened up about his early days dating the Bollywood-meets-Hollywood icon, and how even back then, he was determined not to mess things up.

The conversation, full of warmth and laughter, took a nostalgic turn when Kelly Ripa recalled the time Nick brought Priyanka over for dinner at their house in the early stages of their relationship. Jokingly, Kelly described the moment as if she and her husband, Mark Consuelos, were standing in as Nick’s nervous parents. Mark chimed in, saying they were worried they might “mess up,” and Kelly quickly added that they didn’t want to “screw it up.”

Nick, with his trademark charm, jumped in to admit he was just as nervous. “By the way, I didn’t wanna mess up either,” he said, making the hosts and audience burst into laughter. That one line captured how seriously he took things with Priyanka from the beginning. It wasn’t just another date—it meant something. And clearly, he wanted it to lead somewhere meaningful.

In January 2022, they welcomed their first child, Malti Marie, via surrogacy.

Now juggling packed schedules across continents—between New York, Los Angeles, and India—the two still manage to keep their family grounded. Nick shared how they carve out time for family life, even with all the chaos. Their daughter is already off to nursery school and has started taking karate classes—because, of course, she’s the child of two global superstars.

Despite the fame and the fast-paced careers, Nick and Priyanka’s relationship has been about intentionality, warmth, and genuine love from day one—and that hasn’t changed.
