Best New Artist sees Olivia Dean, Katseye, The Marias, Addison Rae, Sombr, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and Lola Young in the running.
Pop categories feature Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan, and Lola Young for Best Pop Solo Performance, while Best Pop Duo/Group Performance includes Cynthia Erivo & Ariana Grande, HUNTR/X, Katseye, Rosé & Bruno Mars, and SZA with Kendrick Lamar. Best Pop Vocal Album nods include Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, and Teddy Swims.
Dance and electronic nominees include Disclosure & Anderson .Paak, Fred Again.., Skepta & PlaqueBoyMax, Kaytranada, Skrillex, and Tame Impala. Dance Pop nominees include Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco, Lady Gaga, Zara Larsson, and PinkPantheress.
Rock and alternative categories highlight Nine Inch Nails, Sleep Token, Hayley Williams, Turnstile, Yungblud, Deftones, Haim, Linkin Park, Bon Iver, The Cure, Wet Leg, and Tyler, the Creator.
R&B nominations feature Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Kehlani, Leon Thomas, Summer Walker, Durand Bernarr, Lalah Hathaway, Ledisi, SZA, and Terrace Martin. Rap categories spotlight Cardi B, Clipse, Pusha T & Malice, Kendrick Lamar, Doechii, Tyler, the Creator, Fridayy, JID, Partynextdoor & Drake, and GloRilla.
