The latest episode of The Bold and the Beautiful kicks off with Liam meeting up with Hope. Hope is eager to get Liam to open up about what’s really going on, but instead of spilling everything, Liam shifts the conversation to Beth. He asks Hope to spend more time with their daughter, and she gladly agrees.
Still curious, Hope presses Liam about why he’s been staying at Steffy’s place. Liam comes up with a believable excuse: after the floods hit, Steffy invited him to stay over, and he accepted.
Meanwhile, back at the Cliff House, Steffy is hoping Liam will finally tell Hope the truth about his serious health issues. She thinks Hope deserves to know what’s happening, especially since Liam doesn’t have much time left. Steffy wants to prepare Hope and the girls for what’s coming.
Liam leaves the mansion and returns to the Cliff House, where he admits to Finn and Steffy that he still hasn’t told Hope anything. The three argue over Liam’s choice to keep it a secret, but Liam insists he wants to spend his remaining time on his own terms.
Despite this, Steffy can’t shake the feeling that Hope should know. She goes to see Hope, visibly upset and tearful. When Hope asks what’s wrong, Steffy hesitates for a moment but then blurts out the shocking news: “Liam is dying!”
Elsewhere, Brooke shows up to talk to Deacon, determined not to let any other man break Hope’s heart.
After Steffy’s heartbreaking confession, Hope looks through photos of Liam and remembers their special moments together. Just then, Carter interrupts her thoughts and tells her he’s there to take her back to the Forrester mansion.
