The Big Bang Theory may have ended, but its universe keeps expanding! Following the success of Young Sheldon and Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage, the franchise is set to introduce another spinoff—Stuart Fails to Save the Universe.

The new series will center around Stuart Bloom, the quirky comic book store owner played by Kevin Sussman. Fans of The Big Bang Theory will remember Stuart as the socially awkward yet lovable friend who often found himself entangled with Sheldon, Leonard, Penny, and the gang.

According to Deadline, the show will continue the tradition of naming spinoffs after their lead characters. Sussman isn’t the only familiar face returning—Brian Posehn (Bert Kibbler), Lauren Lapkus (Denise), and John Ross Bowie (Barry Kripke) are all set to reprise their roles.

Since the series was first announced in April 2024, speculation has been swirling about whether more original cast members will make an appearance. While no official confirmations have been made, Kaley Cuoco (Penny) has expressed interest, saying she would “absolutely reprise that role.” Mayim Bialik (Amy Farrah Fowler) has also hinted at her willingness to return.

Further details about the plot and release date are still under wraps, but with the franchise’s track record, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe is sure to be another fan-favorite addition!
