The Beginning After the End Season 2: Plot details
The Conclusion of Season One ends with Arthur embarking on his life as an adventurer. He has completed some of his initial training, reunited with his family members, created the bond between him and Sylvie (his mana beast companion), and completed his first missions in the magical world of Dicathen (consisting of elves, mana beasts, etc.). He had to complete his first set of missions before moving into his adventure.
In Season Two, Arthur will continue his journey, which will consist of completing quests, working on his swordsmanship, and developing his ability to use multiple types of mana, and he will do all of this with the assistance of various allies, such as Jasmine, and facing the greatest threats to his world; S-Class mana beasts, building his relationships, Tessia Eralith to name one example, and experiencing the ongoing struggle between good and evil and the looming threat of either a war or greater danger in Dicathen.
Also explained in his second term, “What Will the Strong King Do?” Season 2 will focus more on the action of creating stronger characters and will feature a strong element of developing stronger relationships with other characters, and how they will be able to utilize their knowledge from their past life to be able to take a strategic advantage of everything Arthur already knew from his past life.
For the most recent updates, please see the official Crunchyroll page, the official YouTube trailer for the series, or the anime website for Japan. If you are a new viewer, I recommend watching the first season for a detailed introduction to the reincarnation premise, the mana systems, as well as the beginnings of Arthur’s new adventures! Enjoy!
