Chinese online shopping platform Temu is facing scrutiny in Turkey after its local office was raided by authorities early on Wednesday.

According to a company spokesperson, Turkish officials entered the Temu office and seized several laptops and computers during the operation. No arrests were reported.

Temu said it is aware of the action and plans to cooperate fully with the authorities. The company did not share details on what triggered the raid or what the investigation is about.

Officials in Turkey have also not released any public statement explaining the reason behind the move or the scope of the probe.

Temu is owned by Chinese e commerce giant PDD Holdings. The company has grown rapidly in many global markets by offering heavily discounted products through its online platform.

For now, the situation remains unclear. Temu says it is working with investigators as the matter unfolds.
