Global pop icon Taylor Swift has revealed that she personally selected the final five cities for her massively successful Eras Tour. The 14-time Grammy Award winner shared with fans that she chose these locations based on the enthusiasm and passion of the crowds, ensuring her final shows would close on a high note.

The tour’s final leg kicked off in Miami, Florida, on Friday, where Swift took the stage at Magic City’s Hard Rock Stadium. During her Saturday night performance, Swift expressed her gratitude to her dedicated fan base and explained her decision to perform in specific cities for the tour’s grand finale. “We decided, if we’re going to end this tour… we gotta pick the crowds and the cities where the crowds are going to be passionate, enthusiastic, screaming the words to every single song,” she told the roaring crowd.

Miami was a fitting choice to launch this concluding chapter, and Swift surprised her Florida fans with a live performance of Florida!!!, a track she hadn’t included in her tour’s setlist before. The night also featured a guest appearance by Florence Welch, much to the delight of the audience. Fans were also treated to four new costumes designed exclusively for her Miami shows.

Swift’s final stops will include New Orleans, Indianapolis, and a grand finale in Vancouver, Canada, where the tour is set to wrap on December 8. The Eras Tour, which began on March 17, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona, has been nothing short of historic, grossing over $1.04 billion, officially making it the highest-grossing tour in history.

Adding to her legacy, Swift also recently announced the release of her first-ever book commemorating the Eras Tour. The 256-page hardcover edition will include over 500 behind-the-scenes images and personal reflections from the artist herself. Titled The Official Eras Tour Book, the collection is set to hit shelves on November 29, exclusively at Target for $39.99. Alongside the book, fans will also have the chance to own The Tortured Poets Department: The Anthology on vinyl and CD.

As Swift gears up  to conclude her historic tour, Swifties around the world continue to celebrate her, with anticipation building for the final performances and her upcoming book release. Swift shared her excitement on Instagram, stating that she wanted to “commemorate the memories we made together in a special way.”
