On August 28, the newly engaged couple was spotted in the VIP section at the Cincinnati Bearcats vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers game at Arrowhead Stadium. Taylor showed off her sparkling ring while enjoying the game with Travis and his brother Jason Kelce. The ring is an old mine brilliant-cut diamond, reportedly around 8 carats, co-designed by jeweler Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine with Travis. Its estimated value is between $550,000 and possibly over a million dollars.
The engagement took place around August 10 at their Missouri home. Taylor was recording the New Heights podcast, hosted by Jason Kelce, when Travis surprised her. After talking about their two-year relationship for hours, Travis led her to a garden decorated with flowers, offered her a glass of wine, and got down on one knee to pop the question.
The couple celebrated by sharing photos on Instagram with the caption, “Your English teacher and gym teacher are getting married,” which quickly earned millions of likes from excited fans.
