Avis Car rental customers hit by major data breach: Personal information stolen in cyberattack
Global car rental company Avis has reported a data breach that compromised the personal information of nearly 300,000 individuals. The cyberattack, which was discovered in early August, compromised customer names, addresses, credit card details, and driver’s license numbers.
