DC Studios’ Superman has reached an impressive milestone, surpassing Mission: Impossible—The Final Reckoning to become one of the top 200 highest-grossing films of all time worldwide. It is also among the top five highest-grossing Hollywood movies of the year.
The film has beaten the domestic earnings of Thor: Love and Thunder, ranking as the 77th highest-grossing movie in North America. Made on a $225 million budget, it has already earned 2.66 times that amount, signaling a major success for the DC Universe under James Gunn and Peter Safran.
At the domestic box office, Superman opened with $125.02 million and has now collected $343.5 million. Internationally, it has crossed $256 million from 78 overseas markets, bringing the worldwide total to $599.5 million.
