Stock market today: S&P 500 sees slight gain of 0.61% while DJI lost 0.21% in early trading

As of 9:36 AM EST, the U.S. stock market showcased a mixed performance. Here’s a breakdown of the top indices in the early trading session.

The S&P 500 Index climbed to 6,086.49, registering a gain of 0.61%. While, the NASDAQ Composite Index rose by 1.30% to 19,735.12, reflecting strong momentum in tech and growth stocks.

On the other hand, the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index dipped slightly, losing 0.21% to stand at 44,919.65. The NYSE Composite Index also recorded a marginal decline of 0.02%, settling at 20,184.80.
