Stock market today: S&P 500 and NASDAQ 100 inch higher by 0.06% and 0.20% positively as investors eye market rebound

As of 9:51 AM EST, major stock indices displayed modest gains in early trading as the market opened on Monday. As this week’s trading begins, investors will be eyeing for the market to rebound to cope up with the previous week’s declines.

As trading began on Monday, the S&P 500 stood at 6,016.77, reflecting a slight increase of 0.06%. The tech-heavy NASDAQ 100 Index also moved upward, reaching 21,656.78, marking a 0.20% gain. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index recorded a rise to 43,494.82, up 0.15%.

The NASDAQ Composite Index followed suit, by climbing to 19,567.71, registering a 0.22% increase. However, the NYSE Composite Index unlike the other indices experienced a slight decline, settling at 19,866.06, down 0.08%.
