Stock market news: Tesla gained around 2.49% while Meta Platforms down by 1.68% during midday trading

As of 12:37 PM EST, several major companies saw varying movements in their stock prices during the midday trading session. Tesla, Inc. rose by 2.49% to 362.94 USD, with a market cap of 1.17 T USD. The stock has been rallying on Wednesday after its expansion in India and also because Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk was seen in an interview with President Trump with Fox News’ Sean Hannity. 

NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) gained 0.39%, trading at 139.95 USD, and holding a market cap of 3.43 T USD. However, Super Micro Computer, Inc. (SMCI) experienced a significant rise of 12.62%, with its stock price at 62.84 USD and a market cap of 36.8 B USD. SMCI has been on a rise since last week after it revealed its revenue earrings for the previous quarter and revenue guidance for the FY 2026. 

 Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) saw a decline of 1.68% to 704.37 USD, maintaining a market cap of 1.78 T USD, the stock’s decline since yesterday has ended its 20-days winning rally. Meanwhile, Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) reported a marginal percentage change as it fell by 0.34% to 124.20 USD, with a market cap of 282.93 B USD

Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) ticked up 0.21% to 410.49 USD, boasting a market cap of 3.05 T USD. SImilarly, Apple Inc. (AAPL) increased 0.27% to 245.14 USD, holding a market cap of 3.68 T USD. The iPhone maker company is planning to unveil new models of iPhone, that will be much cheaper and also have AI features. 

Lastly,  Hims & Hers Health, Inc. (HIMS) surged 22.62%, reaching 71.73 USD with a market cap of 15.67 B USD. This surge came after the company after the company revealed that it has acquired at-home lab testing provider Sigmund, or Trybe Labs, to allow the company to offer at-home blood testing.
