Stock market news: NASDAQ 100 saw fall of just 0.37% while DJIA saw minimal rise of 0.07% as investors await Federal Reserve interest rates report

The tech-heavy NASDAQ 100 Index also slipped, dropping 0.37% to rest at  21,382.56 USD.

As of 12:05 pm EST, the stock market reflected a mixed trend, with some indices showing resilience while others declined. Investors are waiting for the release of Federal Reserve interest rates with the anticipation that the Fed will most likely continue with the existing interest rates of 4.25% to 4.50%. 

The indices have shown a stable performance as the top three indices of Wall Street showcased marginal changes on Wednesday afternoon. The  S&P 500 stood at 6,051.67 USD, marking a 0.26% decline. The tech-heavy NASDAQ 100 Index also slipped, dropping 0.37% to rest at  21,382.56 USD

Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average Index posted a modest gain of 0.07%, reaching 44,882.76 USD. On the other hand, the NASDAQ Composite Index faced a sharper decline, falling 0.66% to 19,602.40 USD.
