Stock market news: NASDAQ 100 declined by 0.92% while DJI was down by 0.26% as Trump halts tariff imposition on Mexico by one month

However, the NASDAQ 100 Index also experienced a drop, as it settled  at 21,281.12 USD, marking a decline of -0.92%.

As of 12:21 PM EST, the major indices saw a decline on Monday afternoon. However, the percentage of decline among major indices was relatively lower as compared to that on Monday morning as Trump announced a halt in imposition of tariffs on Mexico for one month after discussion with Mexican President.  

The S&P 500 was positioned at 5,994.57 USD, while marking a decrease of -0.76%. However, the NASDAQ 100 Index also experienced a drop, as it settled  at 21,281.12 USD, marking a decline of -0.92%

The Dow Jones Industrial Average was trading at 44,428.38 USD, as it was falling by -0.26%. Meanwhile, the NASDAQ Composite Index saw the largest decrease, as it was placed at 19,388.07 USD, marking a decline of -1.22%.
