SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan is already loved by fans for his lighthearted personality and great sense of humor. He’s the type of guy who can make any situation fun, and recently, he had the internet cracking up with something he did at a VIVIZ concert. On July 5, Seungkwan attended the girl group’s show in Seoul, and what happened there quickly turned into a viral moment. He didn’t just stop at being funny during the concert—he even joined in the fun later by commenting on a fan’s post about the incident, taking the joke even further. This whole moment had fans laughing and asking themselves how he always manages to come up with such entertaining stuff.
At the VIVIZ World Tour [New Legacy] concert held at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, Seungkwan’s comedic side was on full display again. When the VIVIZ members—Eunha, SinB, and Umji—came to greet fans sitting at the back, Seungkwan acted like a super excited fan. He shook their hands and then dramatically acted like he was shaking with emotion, just like how some fans react when they meet their idols. It was all in good fun, and the crowd was already enjoying the moment.
But what really made everyone burst into laughter was what happened next. A security guard, who seemingly didn’t recognize that the “fanboy” was actually Seungkwan himself, gently tapped him on the shoulder and asked him to calm down and sit. The whole thing felt like a scene from a comedy show, and people couldn’t stop laughing, both at the concert and later online when the clip started going around.
Soon after, a fan uploaded a video of the moment on Instagram. Seungkwan came across the post and decided to jump in with a hilarious comment. He jokingly scolded his own behavior by writing, “Let’s follow the concert etiquette please. That person was seriously too much. Is he the only fan? The security guard really took appropriate action.” His comment made it even funnier because he was pretending like he wasn’t the one in the video, adding to the whole joke. SEVENTEEN fans, known as Carats, couldn’t get enough of it and called him the funniest person ever. Some even joked that his life motto must be “troll yourself before someone else does.”
The moment became so popular that even people who aren’t SEVENTEEN fans or part of their fandom started talking about Seungkwan and calling him hilarious. His face and videos have been all over social media lately, making it hard not to come across something funny involving him.
As for what he’s been up to professionally, Seungkwan and the rest of SEVENTEEN recently dropped their fifth studio album, Happy Burstday, on May 26, 2025, celebrating ten years together as a group. Earlier in February, they also wrapped up their Right Here World Tour. Despite being busy with work, Seungkwan still finds time to make people laugh, both on and off the stage.
