Tonia Troutwine, the ex-wife of Jonathan Oddi—who previously claimed to have been a “sex slave” to Sean “Diddy” Combs—is now speaking out about Oddi’s ongoing fears related to the music mogul. Despite Diddy’s current incarceration on serious federal charges, including racketeering and sex trafficking, Oddi remains deeply afraid of potential retaliation, according to Troutwine.
Tonia told TMZ that even though Diddy is locked up at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and Oddi is in Miami-Dade County Jail, the fear hasn’t faded. Oddi reportedly feels somewhat safer behind bars because of the physical distance between him and Diddy, explaining, “He feels more protected in jail, being away from Diddy.”
She also revealed that Oddi’s life took a dark turn after their “freak-offs” with Diddy and Cassie Ventura became public. Before these events came to light, Troutwine described Oddi as a disciplined, health-conscious man who avoided alcohol and drugs. “Everything that went down with Diddy destroyed him,” she said.
In recent court proceedings in Manhattan, Cassie Ventura testified that she suspected Oddi recorded one of their “freak-offs” back in 2013. During her testimony, Diddy’s defense attorney played an audio clip where Ventura allegedly threatened to kill a DJ she believed had the video.
Jonathan Oddi originally made headlines in 2018 following an alleged shootout at the Trump National Doral Miami resort, which led to his arrest and charges including attempted murder of law enforcement officers, armed burglary, and armed grand theft. It was during the investigation of this incident that Oddi first claimed involvement in sexual activities with Diddy and Cassie.
Oddi is currently awaiting trial for the 2018 charges, and Tonia says they remain in contact despite everything.
