Sarah Strong may be a college basketball freshman, but she’s anything but a typical rookie. As the No. 1 recruit in the class of 2024, she’s already proving why UConn head coach Geno Auriemma called her a program-changing player. Through 38 games, she’s averaging 16.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 3.6 assists, numbers that solidified her as a star, especially after a dominant 22-point, 17-rebound performance in the Elite Eight.

But Sarah Strong’s basketball instincts aren’t just natural; they’re inherited. She comes from a family deeply rooted in the game, with both her parents having played professionally.

With a dominant freshman season already in the books, her future in the game looks just as bright as her parents’ past.
