Sami Sheen, the 21-year-old daughter of Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen, has been open about her strained relationship with her father. In a playful TikTok video, Sami addressed why she hasn’t spoken to Charlie in over a year, humorously referencing a viral moment from his infamous 2011 interview on ABC’s 20/20. In the clip, Charlie responds to a question about drugs in his house with, “If there are, you better find them and give them to me immediately,” followed by a mock laugh and a reference to everyone “dying” because of it. Sami captioned the video with, “When people wonder why I haven’t spoken to my dad in a year but this is my dad,” clearly poking fun at their complicated relationship.
Earlier this week, Sami elaborated further on her fractured relationship with Charlie during an appearance on Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast. She revealed that after she had nose surgery, Charlie didn’t reach out to check on her, which hurt her feelings. Their communication became more tense, and after one conversation turned “really big,” she decided to block him on multiple platforms due to the “crazy stuff” he was sending her. She even recounted that after she blocked him on email, Charlie got a new number at Christmas to continue reaching out, prompting her to tell him to “never contact me again.”
Sami and Charlie’s relationship has been rocky, but she has a close bond with her younger sister, Lola, 19, who seems to have a stronger connection with their father. Lola recently spoke on Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, mentioning how her relationship with Charlie has improved over time, including enjoying simple bonding moments like getting pedicures together.
Charlie Sheen also has two other daughters: Cassandra, whom he shares with his high school girlfriend Paula Profit, and Eloise, whom he adopted in 2011.
