Salma Hayek recently made a dazzling cameo appearance at Madonna’s Celebration Tour, adding another star-studded moment to the iconic series of concerts. The Grown Ups actress joined the legendary singer on stage during her performance in Mexico City on April 26, 2024.
During the concert, Hayek donned a stunning outfit inspired by Frida Kahlo, the renowned painter whom she portrayed in the 2002 film “Frida.” This tribute to Kahlo added a unique and memorable touch to her appearance alongside Madonna. Not only did she grace the stage in Kahlo’s iconic style, but she also took the mic to sing alongside Madonna during her rendition of the 1990 hit “Vogue.”
Following the performance, Hayek took to Instagram to express her gratitude to Madonna for the unforgettable opportunity to share the stage with her. She described the moment as a precious treasure that she will always cherish.
Madonna’s Celebration Tour has been a star-studded affair, with the iconic singer inviting various big-name celebrities to join her on stage throughout the series of concerts. Previous guest appearances have included Cardi B in Los Angeles, Pamela Anderson in Canada, and actresses Julia Garner and Kelly Ripa, as well as Madonna’s boyfriend, Josh Popper.
One particularly memorable moment from the tour occurred during a show in New York, where Madonna was joined on stage by five of her six children for a heartwarming performance of “Vogue.”
The Celebration Tour marks Madonna’s 12th concept tour, taking her to 81 cities across Europe, North America, and South America. The tour commenced on October 14, 2023, and is scheduled to conclude on May 4, 2024, with a free concert at Copacabana Beach in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
