The Green Lantern actor shared a nostalgic video montage featuring his iconic mercenary character in various appearances—including a surprising clip of Nicepool’s death, which immediately caught fans’ attention.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Reynolds posted a high-energy, fast-paced clip that kicked off with scenes from his latest adventure, Deadpool & Wolverine. From there, it rewinds through Deadpool 2, the first Deadpool movie, and ultimately lands on the infamous 2014 test footage leak—the very clip that helped bring the character to life on the big screen.
The video concluded with a heartfelt message: “Thanks for 10 wonderful years! – Ryan.”
Fans flooded the post with praise, celebrating Reynolds’ unwavering dedication to the role and his ability to perfectly embody the character. However, one response, in particular, stood out—Hugh Jackman, Reynolds’ longtime friend and co-star in Deadpool & Wolverine, cheekily commented: “Till YOU’RE 90.”
For those unfamiliar, Jackman’s comment is a callback to a joke in Deadpool & Wolverine, referencing how long Reynolds is destined to play the wisecracking anti-hero.
