Ryan Gosling delighted visitors at Universal Studios Hollywood by making a surprise appearance during a WaterWorld pre-show inspired by his upcoming film, “The Fall Guy.” The movie, set to hit theaters on May 3, is a collaboration between Universal and 87North, starring Gosling alongside Emily Blunt. A modern take on the 1980s TV series of the same name, “The Fall Guy” casts Gosling as a stunt performer entangled in unexpected adventures, with Blunt portraying his ex-lover turned film director.
In a TikTok video capturing the moment, Gosling emerged to thunderous applause from the audience as the announcer introduced the show. Playfully quizzed by one of the pre-show’s directors, Gosling humorously introduced himself as “Just Ryan.”
Soon, the real director of “The Fall Guy,” David Leitch, joined Gosling on stage. As the live show’s crew prepared to integrate Gosling into the performance, he jokingly brushed off their efforts, insisting he was only there to say hello.
