Kim Woo Seok, the former K-pop idol turned actor, is preparing for his mandatory military enlistment, set to begin this November. His agency, BLITZWAY STUDIOS, announced that he will be serving as an active-duty soldier in the army band after completing his initial training period.

On September 27, it was confirmed that Kim Woo Seok received notification of his acceptance into the army band from the Military Manpower Administration on September 25. He is scheduled to enlist at the Army Training Center on November 4. Due to safety concerns, there will not be any official events on the day of his recruitment, and his agency has requested fans to avoid visiting the site to prevent any potential incidents.

In a message through his agency, Kim Woo Seok expressed his commitment to completing his service in good health and returning as a more mature individual.

Previously a member of the boy band X1, formed in 2019 through the reality show *Produce X 101*, Kim Woo Seok also has roots in the seven-member K-pop group UP10TION, established by TOP Media. Since shifting his focus to acting in 2020 with the web drama *Twenty-Twenty*, he has gained recognition for his roles in several K-dramas, including *Bulgasal: Immortal Souls*, *Rookie Cops*, *Mimicus*, *Finland Papa*, and *Night Has Come*, the latter earning him praise and a nomination for Rookie of the Year at the 3rd Blue Dragon Series Awards.

His upcoming drama, *Social Savvy Class 101*, is set to premiere in November. Before his enlistment, Kim Woo Seok will have one last opportunity to meet fans during a fan meeting on October 26, allowing them to bid him farewell as he embarks on this new chapter of his life.
