BIGHIT MUSIC has officially shared some exciting news that fans have been waiting for — RM’s second solo album, Right Place, Wrong Person, is finally getting a vinyl release. As soon as the announcement dropped, fans rushed to get their hands on a copy, with pre-orders flying fast.
The album first came out in 2024 and was praised for how real and emotional it felt. RM showed a deeper, more thoughtful side of himself, and the music blended different styles, mainly with alternative influences. People around the world connected with it, making it one of his most talked-about works.
Now, because fans have continued to show so much love for the album, it’s being released on vinyl, which makes it extra special. It’s not just another way to listen to the music — it’s becoming a collectible for both BTS fans and vinyl lovers.
Pre-orders for the vinyl opened on July 8 at 11 a.m. KST, and fans were quick to act. Shipping will be done in waves depending on where you live. South Korea and Japan will start getting theirs from August 8, while those in the U.S. and Europe can expect shipments to begin around September 5. Since vinyl production can be a bit tricky, the delivery dates might vary, so it’s a good idea to check with local stores or the BTS Weverse Shop for the latest info.
This vinyl edition comes with some exclusive goodies. Inside the package, fans will find a beautifully designed outer and inner sleeve, one vinyl record, a photobook, a lyric poster, and two photocards — all packed in a single version. With limited stock, it’s no surprise that fans are treating this release like a major event, with many calling it a full-on battle to secure a copy.
Right Place, Wrong Person is RM’s second solo studio album and it came out on May 24, 2024. It has 11 tracks that explore a mix of sounds and emotions. Songs like Right People, Wrong Place, Nuts, Out of Love, and LOST! (the main track) show different sides of RM’s thoughts and feelings. He also collaborated with artists like Little Simz and Moses Sumney, adding even more variety to the album. This project followed his first solo album, Indigo, which was released in 2022.
With the vinyl now up for grabs and shipping dates just around the corner, fans everywhere are feeling the hype — and the pressure — to get a piece of this long-awaited release.
