Rihanna recently delighted her fans by sharing an adorable video of her 2-year-old son, RZA, attempting to escape from a playpen. The clip, posted on Instagram on September 27, features RZA, whom she shares with boyfriend A$AP Rocky, climbing over the side of the playpen while the Mission Impossible theme song plays in the background. In the playful caption, Rihanna humorously noted, “Being a boy mom is an Olympic sport.”
In the video, RZA, dressed in white and yellow pajamas, showcases his determination as he swings his legs over the edge of the playpen. He eventually manages to escape, only to grab his cup from the floor before returning to the playpen.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who have been together since May 2021, are proud parents of two boys—RZA, born in May 2022, and their younger son, Riot Rose, born in August 2023. The couple frequently attends public events together, balancing their busy careers with parenthood.
In a recent interview with Billboard, A$AP Rocky expressed his desire for his sons to have normal childhoods, despite their famous parents. He addressed rumors that their children would not be able to grow up in Harlem, emphasizing that they are just “normal kids.” He shared a clip of RZA playing in SoHo, highlighting his pride in his son and the importance of keeping their lives grounded.
Rocky also praised Rihanna, stating, “There’s no more perfect person” than her. He spoke about their effective co-parenting dynamic, noting how they manage to find balance amid their hectic schedules. He emphasized that their relationship thrives on understanding and compatibility, especially when they have time to spend together.
