Reacher Season 4 has been confirmed for release in 2026 on Prime Video, but there is no set date yet.

Filming is expected to finish around the end of 2025 (probably around December), followed by an expected completion of post-production (including ADR) sometime in late March of 2026. Alan Ritchson has stated that this will be “the best Reacher we’ve ever made,” and suggested that it will be out “very soon” in 2026, likely sometime in either the summer or the fall based on historical release patterns of other seasons of Reacher (season 3 finished post-production in early 2025 and began airing in February 2025). Promotion should ramp up shortly.

A Neagley spinoff (starring Maria Sten with an appearance by Ritchson) is also expected to come out in 2026, and it is possible that this could hit the airwaves before season 4 of Reacher does.

Reacher Season 4 expected cast

  • Alan Ritchson returns as Jack Reacher, the imposing drifter and former military policeman.
  • Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette as Jacob Merrick (replacing Jay Baruchel, who was originally cast but stepped away due to a personal matter).
  • Sydelle Noel as Tamara Green (a reimagined/renamed character, likely inspired by Teresa Lee or similar from the book).
  • Agnez Mo as Lila Hoth (a key antagonistic figure; this is a major acting role for the Indonesian singer/songwriter).
  • Anggun as Amisha Hoth (Lila’s mother).

Additional cast includes:

  • Kevin Corrigan as Detective Docherty (or Russell Plum in some listings).
  • Kevin Weisman as Russell Plum.
  • Marc Blucas as John Samson.
  • Kathleen Robertson as Elsbeth Samson.

Returning or recurring characters from prior seasons (like Frances Neagley) are unlikely this season due to the spin-off. The ensemble features a mix of cops, allies, and high-stakes adversaries.

Reacher Season 4: Story

This season will be based on book 13 from Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series, Gone Tomorrow (published in 2009), and take place mainly in New York City. The season begins with Jack on the subway, where he is a witness to the suicide (or possible suicide) of a Woman, who he initially perceives as a possible terrorist bomber, bringing him into a web of complicated conspiracies, including undercover terrorists and ruthless high-level adversaries, local police, and a “labyrinth of fighting.” There will be a lot of intense action (over 30 fight sequences across the total eight episodes), investigations, and Jack’s navigation of urban dangers and moral ambiguities.

Conspiracy, personal stakes, and explosive confrontations are major themes of the season, and while the style of storytelling will continue to remind fans of the books, the filming style for the television series will adapt to accommodate the different medium. The location of the story has changed significantly from previous seasons; this season will be set in New York City, where the layers surrounding the villain will not only provide suspense for the audience but also make this an exciting season overall.

While there hasn’t been a full trailer released, expect one to be released shortly as television promotional efforts ramp up. The series is continuing its successful format of each season consisting of a stand-alone story developed from various Lee Child’s novels.
