Pro-Ject, a renowned brand in the world of turntables, has introduced its latest lineup, the T1 EVO series, offering an impressive balance of performance and affordability. The new series consists of three models: the T1 EVO, T1 EVO Phono, and T1 EVO BT, with prices starting at $449 for the base model, making it accessible to audiophiles looking to elevate their vinyl experience without overspending.
Each model in the T1 EVO series is designed with a unique set of features aimed at both beginner and more advanced vinyl enthusiasts. The T1 EVO is the standard model, equipped with the Ortofon OM10 MM phono cartridge and the same sub-platter design found in the higher-end Pro-Ject Debut Carbon model. It also comes with electronic speed control, making it easy to switch between different playback speeds.
The T1 EVO Phono offers an all-in-one solution by including a built-in phono stage. Meanwhile, the T1 EVO BT takes it a step further by incorporating Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD, allowing for high-definition wireless playback, along with a built-in phono stage for added convenience.
All three models feature the same core components, including an 8mm tempered glass platter, an anti-resonant sub-platter, and a low-friction aluminum tonearm designed to minimize vibration. Vibration-absorbing feet are also included to ensure the best sound quality. The T1 EVO series offers a choice of three finishes: gloss black, satin white, and satin walnut, making them a sleek addition to any home audio setup.
With prices ranging from $449 to $599, the T1 EVO series aims to be the perfect upgrade for those transitioning from entry-level turntables. The models are expected to ship in late October, with availability in the U.S. first, and likely expanding to other regions soon after.
