Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg expecting her first child with husband Nicolas Bagory

The Royal Family of Luxembourg is celebrating.

On Monday, the Court of Luxembourg announced that Princess Alexandra, 32, and her husband, Nicolas Bagory, 35, are expecting their first child this spring.

“Their Royal Highnesses the Grand Duke and Grand Duchess are delighted to announce that Princess Alexandra and Mister Nicolas Bagory are expecting their first child. Birth is scheduled for spring,” read a statement on Instagram.

Alexandra’s parents, Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa share five children together, with Alexandra being their only daughter.

She was born in 1991 and holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and a master’s degree in interreligious studies from Irish School of Ecumenics at Trinity College.

The princess has also spent some time studying in the United States’ University of Steubenville and also did an internship at the United Nations.

She is fluent in multiple languages, which includes English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Luxembourgish.
