Prince Harry is ‘unhappy’ with his mother Princess Diana’s two sisters

Prince Harry was reportedly very disappointed after introducing Meghan Markle to his late mother’s sisters, according to royal author Tom Bower in his book Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors.

Harry had high hopes when he arranged for Meghan to meet Lady Sarah McCorquodale and Lady Jane Fellowes — Princess Diana’s two sisters. He believed they would instantly see Meghan as someone who shared Diana’s qualities, like kindness, empathy, and strength. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. According to Bower, Diana’s sisters didn’t feel Meghan was a good match for royal life, which left Harry feeling quite hurt.

Despite their doubts, Harry stood by Meghan and married her in 2018. The couple now has two children and lives in California, away from royal duties. In their Netflix documentary, Harry later explained how strongly he feels Meghan reminds him of his mother. He said, “She has the same compassion, the same empathy, the same confidence… She has this warmth about her.”

But Meghan continues to face criticism in the media. Recent reports claim she lost out on a potential Vogue cover because of her allegedly excessive or unreasonable demands. This has stirred up fresh backlash.

British journalist Esther Krakue, speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive, even suggested that Meghan should stop trying to act like a global influencer or thought leader and instead just embrace her role as someone who married into royalty. Krakue also poked fun at Meghan’s appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, where Meghan said she wouldn’t know what to put on a résumé. Krakue sarcastically commented, “Well, she’s probably never needed to write one.”

While Meghan pushes forward with her business ventures and new media appearances, public opinion remains very mixed. Some people admire her confidence and independence, while others think she’s trying too hard to stay in the spotlight.
