Fans have long known that V enjoys running, often alongside fellow member Jungkook. The duo even came up with “seven rules” for ARMYs to follow if they ever happen to run into them during their workouts. These rules include not talking to them, not running with them, not taking photos or laughing at them, and basically letting them enjoy their exercise time like ordinary people. And it turns out, the fans have been doing exactly that.
Speaking to fans on Weverse, V expressed his heartfelt gratitude. He said,
“Honestly, ARMYs have been so gentle and polite with me. Even if they run into me, they don’t talk to me, are considerate, and don’t even run alongside me. They greet me with an expression that says that they don’t care if I’m there or not, and just do the Bangtan greeting gesture. I thought it was super nice and funny.”
He went on to share how thankful he is that there haven’t been any online posts revealing his running spots or schedule.
“Since no eye witness accounts have been made, I want to thank ARMYs for being so considerate. Next time I meet them, I should repay them with a gift or something. Thanks to their consideration and politeness, I’ve been going to the mountain a lot.”
V’s appreciation highlights how much he values the trust between him and ARMY. Despite his global fame, fans have shown that they respect his need for quiet, personal moments — something very few celebrities get to experience.
