Pete Davidson is opening up about a vulnerable side of impending fatherhood. In his recent sit-down with The Breakfast Club on iHeartRadio, the comedian admitted he feels a heavy sense of guilt about how his fame has impacted girlfriend Elsie Hewitt’s pregnancy.

The Saturday Night Live alum revealed that while pregnancy should ideally be a private and joyous journey, Hewitt is having to navigate the added weight of public attention. “I feel bad for my girl because I bring a lot of s***. Anything I do or she does now is gonna be a thing,” Davidson confessed.

He went on to emphasize that Hewitt, who is naturally a private person, has not once complained or made him feel worse about the situation. Still, Davidson feels responsible: “She’s the one doing all the work. It’s supposed to be a beautiful experience, and I feel so guilty and horrible that I could not allow her to have the ideal pregnancy that almost every woman gets to have and enjoy.”
