Suits LA was a fun ride for fans of the original show. While viewers got to see Gabriel Macht back as Harvey Specter, many were hoping Patrick J. Adams, who played Mike Ross throughout the original seven seasons of Suits, might make a comeback too.
In a recent interview with ComingSoon, Patrick J. Adams was asked if he’d considered returning for a guest spot in Suits LA. He said he’d think about it, but only if it made sense for the story. He emphasized that it wouldn’t be right to just show up without a good reason.
He explained, “Yeah, if it made sense. I still keep in touch with all those guys. Aaron /[Korsh] is obviously running the show.” The interview took place back in December last year.
Patrick also mentioned he’s been keeping busy with a podcast focused on Suits, diving into the show’s history and behind-the-scenes stories, and he’s enjoying that a lot.
He added, “So many other directors that I know are going to direct Suits LA and are still close friends of mine. So, never say never. I think for all of us, we just wanna make sure it was the right fit and a good story and that it made sense.”
Adams also said he’s not stressing too much about whether or not he’ll return, preferring to stay relaxed about the whole thing.
He was aware that Gabriel Macht would make a cameo in Suits LA and said he hopes it will be a hit for both the show and the fans.
For context, Suits LA stars Stephen Amell as Ted Black, a former federal prosecutor from New York. The show also features Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis, and Bryan Greenberg in key roles.
