Park Seo Joon, known for his roles in Itaewon Class, The Marvels, and Jinny’s Kitchen, is teaming up with Won Ji An, who rose to fame through Squid Game season 2 and 3, HeartBeat, and D.P., for a new romance comedy K-drama called Surely Tomorrow. The show, previously referred to as Waiting for Kyeongdo in English, will premiere exclusively on Prime Video and be available in over 240 countries, with new episodes released weekly.

Surely Tomorrow tells the story of two people whose lives keep crossing paths. They first meet at the age of 20, and their young love doesn’t last. They part ways, only to meet again in their late twenties as more responsible but still youthful adults. Once again, things don’t work out, and they go their separate ways. Fate, however, gives them a third chance in their thirties, but much has changed since they last met.

Lee Kyeong Do, played by Park Seo Joon, is now an entertainment journalist covering a major scandal involving a high-profile couple. Seo Ji Woo, played by Won Ji An, is the wife at the center of the issue, navigating the fallout from her troubled celebrity marriage. As Lee covers the scandal, he finds himself facing the dilemma of balancing his professional duties with the unresolved history he shares with Seo Ji Woo. Their story is one of second and third chances, exploring how love, timing, and life’s unexpected twists shape their relationship over the years.
