Paris Hilton, renowned for her global presence and striking name, had everyone speculating about the names she would choose for her children. Keeping up with her family tradition of geographic-inspired names, Hilton opted for the names Phoenix and London, each carrying a unique significance beyond just their geographical associations.
Phoenix, chosen for her son, represents resilience, embodying the symbolic bird that rises from ashes. Hilton explained on her podcast that she desires her son to understand the ebb and flow of life, the cycle of facing challenges and emerging triumphant. While contemplating names, options like Ibiza and Aspen were considered, but Phoenix won her over due to its emblematic meaning of resurgence.
As for her daughter London, there was initial speculation linking the name to the character London Tipton from “The Suite Life of Zack and Cody,” an iconic figure inspired by Hilton herself. However, Hilton clarified that the name London was chosen because of her deep affection for the city itself. She had long harbored the idea of a city-themed naming scheme for her future daughter, showcasing her fondness for the vibrant city of London. Additionally, the name Marilyn, after Hilton’s grandmother, was incorporated into her daughter’s full name.
Embracing motherhood with enthusiasm, Hilton has shared her joy and contentment over having her two children. She expressed profound happiness and fulfillment, believing that her life now feels complete with her son and daughter by her side. Though the responsibilities of motherhood are daunting, Hilton appears undeterred, eagerly anticipating this new phase of her life, which she refers to as her “mom era.”
While there’s excitement surrounding her reality series that offers glimpses into her life as a mother, Hilton humorously hinted at the potential of expanding her family in the future. She playfully dismissed the idea of naming a child “Vegas,” noting her desire for her children to embody her husband Carter Reum’s studious and grounded nature rather than becoming party enthusiasts.
Hilton’s journey into motherhood is one she embraces wholeheartedly, cherishing the significance behind her children’s names and looking forward to the evolving chapters of her family life.
