One Piece really hit fans in the heart with episode 1132, bringing one of the story’s most emotional moments to life beautifully. The episode was sad but also powerful, and it set up a lot of excitement for what’s coming next in episode 1133 and the episodes that follow. The focus was on Kuma’s heartbreaking past, which has now reached a huge turning point. If the anime keeps up this quality, this part of the story might end up being just as unforgettable as it was in the manga, or maybe even more so.

In episode #1132, the story continues two years after Ginny was taken away. We see that Kuma has been travelling from place to place, filled with pain and anger, attacking war-torn lands out of grief. Then, out of nowhere, the Revolutionary Army gets a call from Ginny herself. But instead of it being a happy reunion, it turns out Ginny is calling just to say goodbye. She’s dying, and not even Kuma can do anything to help her. Her final words broke everyone’s hearts.

Even though Ginny’s death is incredibly sad, it marks the start of a new chapter in Kuma’s life. Something inside him changes, and this transformation is going to shape the story in the upcoming episodes. Seeing how the anime handles these next parts should be really emotional and powerful, fans definitely have a lot to look forward to as the story keeps moving forward.

What happened in One Piece Episode 1132?

Episode 1132 of One Piece, called “A Pledge to Ginny – Kuma Becomes a Father,” takes place two years after Ginny was captured and forced to be a slave by the Celestial Dragons. Kuma was heartbroken and spent all his time fighting with the Revolutionary Army. He never took a break and didn’t care about the toll it was taking on him.

One day, the Revolutionary Army got a surprising phone call, from Ginny herself. She said she had been freed from slavery, but sadly, she was calling just to say goodbye because she knew she was going to die soon.

Kuma refused to accept that Ginny would die. He used his powers to teleport to the only place he thought she could be, the church they used to live in on Sorbet. Kuma was right, but sadly, Ginny had already passed away. She was suffering from a strange illness called Sapphire Scales, which caused her body to turn to stone when exposed to light.

Kuma felt more sadness than ever before. But then, he found out that Ginny had left behind a baby girl. Even though Kuma was grieving, he promised to take care of the baby as if she were his own.

Five years passed, and Kuma raised Ginny’s daughter, Bonney, with all his love. They were very happy together. But everything changed when Bonney started showing signs of the same illness as her mother. A doctor told Kuma there was no cure for Sapphire Scales and that Bonney had, at most, five years left to live.

Bonney overheard part of the doctor’s conversation and misunderstood it. She thought she would be cured by the time she turned 10. Meanwhile, Kuma spent a whole year trying to figure out what to do. During this time, a dangerous character named King Bekori came back with a plan to destroy everyone in southern Sorbet, putting Kuma and Bonney in even more danger.

Did One Piece confirm the biggest Bonney theory

Since the Egghead arc started, when the Straw Hats first found Bonney as a child, fans have been arguing about how old she really is. Some thought she might be a young adult, like she usually looks, while others believed she was still a child.

Now, after more than a year, episode 1132 finally clears things up. It confirms that Bonney is actually only twelve years old. This new information makes some of the scenes in the show where Bonney appears in a more grown-up or suggestive way feel a little awkward or uncomfortable, especially when you think about her real age.

Hopefully, now that everyone knows how old she really is, the show will stop showing those kinds of scenes with Bonney and treat her character more appropriately as a child in the story.
