One Piece is officially back from its break, and fans couldn’t be more excited to see Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates continuing their epic adventure!
We’re diving straight back into the Egghead Arc, picking up right after episode 1,130, which gave us one of the most talked-about moments in One Piece history, the God Valley Incident. This major event saw the Roger Pirates joining forces with the Marines to take on the legendary Rocks Pirates. It was a jaw-dropping reveal, and the story is only heating up from here.
The anime had been on a six-month hiatus since October 2024, as creator Eiichiro Oda took a much-needed break. Now, with both the manga and anime back in action, fans have plenty to look forward to.

How to watch One Piece in the UK
One Piece fans in the UK have plenty of streaming options, whether you’re diving in for the first time or catching up on the latest arcs.
You can now stream brand-new episodes of the anime on Netflix and Crunchyroll, both of which offer the original Japanese version with subtitles. So if you love hearing Luffy shout “Gomu Gomu no…” in his original voice, those platforms have you covered.
But if you prefer watching in English dub, BBC iPlayer is your go-to. It’s currently the only UK platform offering dubbed episodes, and it’s got a massive library too. You’ll find over 1,000 episodes covering 10 full sagas, from the early East Blue adventures all the way up to the end of the Wano arc.
