Japan’s Ojo Gang, the dance crew that recently won the latest edition of Street Woman Fighter, World of Street Woman Fighter, is facing internal conflict. The members of the team have publicly accused their leader, Ibuki, and her manager of hiding payment details and mishandling their contracts. On top of that, Ibuki skipped the group’s Seoul concert, which fueled the tensions even more.
The manager has responded, denying the embezzlement claims. According to him, the dispute was never about stealing money but rather an attempt to make sure all documentation and payments were properly recorded by the organizers.
The situation began when Ojo Gang’s official social media account shared a statement accusing Ibuki and the manager of pocketing the members’ appearance fees. That post was quickly deleted, reportedly by the manager, who also restricted the six members from accessing the group’s official page. In response, the six members shared their side of the story on their personal Instagram accounts.
Reports indicate the members claim that the manager requested certain payment details, including their fees, be left out of contracts, which they saw as an attempt to withhold their money. They continue to accuse Ibuki and her manager of unfair practices.
Meanwhile, Ibuki skipped the Seoul concert and announced she would miss the upcoming Busan concert, saying the organizer, Root59, excluded her from talks. The production team stated that the delays were on Ibuki’s side but confirmed that Ojo Gang’s claims about hidden payments were valid. The remaining six members performed without Ibuki, coordinating directly with the tour organizers. Ibuki has asked for cooperation for future events, including the September 13 Busan concert, citing health reasons for her absence.
