Connections is a brand-new puzzle game from the New York Times where you categorize 16 words into four groups based on how they relate to one another. Each day brings a new puzzle, with varying difficulty, and you can track your streak just like in Wordle.
How to play Connections
You’ll be given a grid of 16 words and need to organize them into four groups of four by identifying the links between them. The connections could be anything, like categories of video games, types of fruit, or even specific wordplays.
Some words may seem like they fit multiple groups, but there’s only one correct answer. To help spot patterns, you can shuffle the grid or rearrange the words.
Each group you correctly guess is color-coded: yellow (easiest), green, blue, and purple (hardest). You only have four incorrect guesses before the game ends.
