The allegations against Jared Leto, outlined in the June 7 Air Mail report, have cast a troubling shadow over the actor and musician’s long-standing career. Nine women have come forward with disturbing accounts spanning over two decades, accusing Leto of inappropriate and sometimes sexually predatory behavior, often involving minors. These testimonies describe a recurring pattern in which Leto allegedly pursued much younger girls—some under the legal age of consent—initiating communication that frequently turned sexual, either verbally or physically.

Among the most serious claims is that of a woman who says she was only 16 in 2008 when she met Leto at a Los Angeles café. She recalls receiving late-night calls from him in which he allegedly used vulgar language and asked explicit questions about her sexual history, which her mother later confirmed overhearing. Another woman shared a story of attending a party at Leto’s home when she was 18, describing an environment in which young women were encouraged to strip and swim. Though Leto’s team denied such events took place, and promoter Brent Bolthouse claimed he never witnessed any such behavior, the woman insisted the intent of the gathering was clearly inappropriate.

Model Laura La Rue also shared that she met Leto at 16 and was later invited to his studio, where she described flirtatious behavior and, during a later visit at 17, said he walked out naked. Her story, like the others, paints a picture of an adult man who repeatedly pushed boundaries with underage girls under the guise of industry connections or mentorship. Leto’s representative denied the sexual nature of their interaction and claimed La Rue applied for a job with him—something she firmly denies.

Perhaps the most explicit allegation comes from a woman who says she communicated with Leto as a minor, and upon visiting him at 18, he suddenly exposed himself, began masturbating, and physically involved her without consent. Such claims are both graphic and harrowing, and Leto has not responded personally, instead issuing denials solely through a spokesperson.

Adding to the growing number of testimonies is DJ Allie Teilz, who reposted an old Facebook status suggesting Leto assaulted her backstage when she was 17. She followed up by saying she was deeply traumatized, accusing him of knowingly preying on her as a minor. Leto’s representative labeled her story as categorically false.

These accounts—marked by consistent themes of age-inappropriate pursuit, exploitation of power, and lack of consent—have led to mounting public scrutiny. While no legal action has yet been formally announced, the sheer volume and detail of the allegations are prompting widespread calls for accountability. As of now, Leto has remained silent, leaving his team to offer denials that many feel do not adequately address the serious nature of what’s been brought forward.
